Pennsylvania have long been known for Red Oak of the very finest quality. Our Northern Red Oak is well manufactured and properly dried. It has outstanding working properties, fine texture and consistent color from board to board.

Red Oak is hard and heavy with good crushing strength
and excellent steam bending properties. It machines well, is good for nailing and screwing and polishes and stains to a very decent finish. It dries slowly with large shrinkage and has a tendency to split so careful drying is recommended.
